Battery acid/alkaline/whatever dissolved ions present leak

Why is it so long? As compact as I have tried to make it, it is still predicted to be well around 15-20 pages. Information overload before an exam for sure.

What I want you've got but it might be hard to handle.

"The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt". – Bertrand Russel

Standard Electromotive force.

Anyone know what the actual Electrical potential difference the hydrogen reduction yields? (edit) Don't worry. Mr Turtle is the dumb. I get it now, so obvious.

Also, when balancing a redox equation, there is no need to factor in the potential, is this because the voltage of the circuit is independent of the number of electrons, that is, amperage? If so, then resistance must be reduced by the factor that the amperage is increased by. Is this true? I have no clue. This is merely my own conjecture.
